How to Use

1. Clip onto your dog’s harness
2. Insert the car seat belt clip into your vehicle’s seat belt socket
   
3. Adjust the strap length (if needed)
   
4. Check that the strap is secure and untwisted. Ready to go! 
   

Important 
Where possible, avoid using the seat belt in the front seat. Even though it's not illegal, placing your dog in the front seat is discouraged. Airbags can deploy with significant force during an accident, posing a serious risk to your pet.

Legal Requirements

In NSW and the ACT, dogs must be restrained in vehicles to avoid fines and demerit points.

In other states, while specific laws may not apply, drivers must avoid distractions. An unsecured pet is a hazard, so using a dog seat belt is strongly recommended for everyone’s safety.
